A method and device for adjusting uplink synchronization in a time division duplexing (TDD) system, the method comprising: storing the information of the previous cell in a first variable, and determining whether the Tadv of the current cell can be directly acquired; if yes, then directly acquiring the Tadv of the current cell, calculating the final uplink transmission timing of the current cell according to the Tadv of the current cell, and storing the information of the current cell in a second variable; if no, then directly storing the information of the current cell in the second variable, and determining whether the first variable is the same as the second variable, if yes, then calculating the final uplink transmission timing of the current cell according to the Tadv of the previous cell, and if no, then acquiring the downlink timing difference between the previous cell and the current cell, adjusting the Tadv of the previous cell according to the downlink timing difference to acquire the Tadv of the current cell, and calculating final uplink transmission timing of the current cell according to the Tadv of the current cell; and updating the cell information of the second variable into the first variable. |
