The invention relates to a hybrid thermostat for an electric water heater, comprising a housing (2) provided with a base (3) and a lid (4), having, respectively, an inner profile enabling the arrangment, firstly, of the elements (6 and 17) connecting the thermostat to the surroundings thereof, secondly of a thermal safety device (5) provided with a probe (7), a bimetallic disc (8), a metal plate (15), an insulator (12), and flexible fingers (14), thirdly, with electronic components of an electronic board (9) enabling the control of temperature regulation of the water heater so as to achieve energy savings, and fourthly with electrical connection means providing the connection between the thermal safety device (5) and the electronic card (9). |
