PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a power system stably at the time of power failure, while avoiding increase in the number of components, voltage drop of the power system, and increase in heat generation of a power converter.SOLUTION: A power converter has: a power failure detection circuit for detecting the power failure state of a plurality of power supply systems, respectively; a first changeover section including a plurality of contacts connected with the plurality of power supply systems and one output terminal, and performing changeover so as to connect a contact, connected with one of other power supply systems, with the output terminal, when the power failure detection circuit detects power failure of at least one of the plurality of power supply systems; a second changeover section including a charging circuit for suppressing an in-rush current from the plurality of power supply systems, and one input terminal connected with the output terminal of the first changeover section, and performing changeover so as to connect the input terminal with a contact on the input side of the charging circuit for a prescribed period in synchronism with changeover of power system in the first changeover section; and a power conversion circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
