PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parison feeder and a parison feeding method which avoid phenomena of scratching between an outer surface of parison and an inner surface of a chuck and phenomena of formation of a parison accumulation on a chuck immediately after the chuck grasps parison so as to keep the distribution of parison thicknesses uniformly, thereby produce high-quality moldings and thus conduct blow molding with improved productivity.SOLUTION: A parison feeder 1 supplies parison P discharged from an extrusion die 10 to a blow die 20 and includes a pair of chucks 2 which grasp vertically parison P discharged downward from the extrusion die 10 and a chuck operation part 3 which controls an operation of grasping the parison P with the chucks 2 and movement of the chucks.
