PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS system capable of reducing the load of operation of a customer in settlement processing.SOLUTION: A POS system comprises: a registration device for registering, by operation of a staff member, commodities as purchase objects of a customer; and a plurality of settlement devices in each of which a customer performs settlement processing based on the registration data of commodities by operating the settlement device on his/her own. The registration device includes: display means that displays a plurality of buttons indicating the plurality of settlement devices, respectively on a display part for staff members; selection means that allows, by way of the buttons, selection of a settlement device for settlement processing based on the registration data of registered commodities; transmission means that transmits the registration data to the selected settlement device so that the customer can perform the settlement processing; and holding means that holds the settlement processing based on the registration data at the settlement device. The display means displays the button of the settlement device to which the registration data has been sent by the transmission means in a display manner different from that of the buttons of the other settlement devices.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
