This tape feeder holding device (100) is provided with: a slide unit (102), which slidably holds a tape feeder (70) that directs a tape accommodating electronic components in a tape feeding direction so as to supply the electronic components; and a slide device (130), which causes the tape feeder held by the slide unit to slide in the tape feeding direction. The slide device causes the tape feeder to slide to a feed position at which the electronic components can be supplied from the tape feeder. In other words, in the case of this tape feeder holding device, the tape feeder is automatically mounted onto the tape feeder holding device. Consequently, damage to a connector and the like caused for example by rough mounting of the tape feeder onto the tape feeder holding device by a worker can be prevented. Also, even a physically weak worker can reliably mount the tape feeder onto the tape feeder holding device. |
