A mechanical sealing and locking apparatus for an optical fiber cable connector housing cable port. An optical fiber cable port sealing flap (1) is provided at one extremity of the locking apparatus. An optical fiber cable port (2) is provided below the optical fiber cable port sealing flap (1). Provided at a side of same are a T-shaped rubber sealing ring flat washer (3) and an anti-rotation flat washer (4). A T-shaped rubber sealing ring (5) and a variable-diameter round pipe (8) are provided between the T-shaped rubber sealing ring flat washer (3) and the anti-rotation flat washer (4). Also, a conical nut (6) is provided at a side of the variable-diameter round pipe (8). Variable-diameter round pipe rhombic cutaway teeth (7) are connected with the optical fiber cable port sealing flap (1). The apparatus seals by utilizing an end surface of the T-shaped rubber sealing pipe (5) to press tight a port of the variable-diameter round pipe (8) and a threaded circular cable port. The variable-diameter round pipe end teeth (7) are screwed and pressed tight by utilizing the conical nut (6) to reduce the diameter of the end teeth, thus allowing an optical fiber cable and the T-shaped rubber sealing pipe (5) to be tightly encapsulated and sealed. This is structurally simple and convenient to use and allows the optical fiber cable to be rapidly fixed and sealed. |
