PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a squirrel-cage induction motor which is high in reliability and small in loss.SOLUTION: Disclosed is an induction motor which includes a rotor 1 having a conductor rod 12 housed in a slot 13 of a solid core 11.
