PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in interlinkage flux of a coil, and suppress increase in inductance of the coil.SOLUTION: A DC electric motor 10 comprises: a stator 16 having a magnet 14; and a rotor 18 having a rotation shaft 30, a rotor core 32, a commutator 34, and a plurality of coils 36. The rotor core 32 includes: a plurality of main pole parts 40 extending in a radial direction and arranged in a circumferential direction at an interval; and a plurality of auxiliary pole parts 42 extending in the radial direction and arranged between the respective main pole parts 40. The commutator 34 includes a plurality of segments 34A to which a brush is slidably contacted. The coils 36 are formed by winding a plurality of windings whose terminal parts are respectively connected with different pairs of segments 34A.
