This tape feeder is provided with a tape pull-in mechanism (51) for transmitting a driving force generated by a single pull-in motor (53) to a tape (TP) inserted in a tape insertion path (P1, P2), thereby pulling in the tape (TP). Moreover, the tape pull-in mechanism (51) transmits the driving force from a driving roller (52) to the tape (TP) which is inserted in a tape insertion path selected from between multiple insertion paths (P1, P2), thereby enabling the tape insertion path used for the tape (TP) pull-in operation to be alternatively switched between the multiple insertion paths (P1, P2). Consequently, a tape feeder (5) which allows the number of pull-in motors (53) to be reduced and has multiple insertion paths (P1, P2) for pulling in an inserted tape (TP) can be constructed with minimal increase in cost. |
