PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothing treatment apparatus in which an auxiliary washing device does not require a clutch and achieves a simplified structure compared to the one with a clutch and capable of reducing the production cost of the whole clothing treatment apparatus.SOLUTION: There is provided a clothing treatment apparatus that specifically includes a main washing device and an auxiliary washing device for treating laundry. The auxiliary washing device includes a tub for accommodating washing water, a drum that is provided rotatably in the tub; and a pulsator that is provided rotatably in the drum and rotates by friction with at least one of washing water and laundry accommodated in the drum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
