PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of more reliably improving handleability while ensuring high fuel economy.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device comprises: generator control means 51 determining a power generation amount by which a generator 30 generates electric power on the basis of at least one of a request from an electric load 34 connected to the generator 30 and a power storage state of power storage means 31, 33, and controlling the generator 30 to generate the electric power on the basis of the determined power generation amount; and shift-time-rotational-speed control means 52 controlling an engine rotational speed during shifting of a transmission 5, the shift-time-rotational-speed control 52 being caused to estimate a gear position after the shifting, to determine a synchronous rotating speed after the shifting to correspond to the estimated gear position after the shifting, and to control the engine rotational speed to obtain this synchronous rotational speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
