PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of pressing an FPC or an FFC against a contact part of a contact with certainty by means of a slider without deteriorating the strength and specification and the like of each portion, and that has a good workability, and that enables a narrow pitch and a low profile.SOLUTION: An elastic part 34 and a fulcrum part 32 are provided between a contact part 22 and a connection part 24 of a contact 14. The contact part 22, the elastic part 34, the fulcrum part 32, and the connection part 24 are arranged in a substantially crank shape, and a pressure reception part 20 extending from the elastic part 34 is provided at a position opposed to the connection part 24. A pressing part 36 consecutively provided in a longitudinal direction is provided on the slider 16. The slider 16 is attached to a housing 12 so that the pressing part 36 is freely rotatable between the connection part 24 of the contact 14 and the pressure reception part 20.
