PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module that can prevent an expanding electric cell from being excessively pushed.SOLUTION: A battery module 100 has electric cells 10 and a housing 20. The electric cell is formed by laminating a positive electrode and a negative electrode through a separator to form a power generation element and sealing the power generation element with an exterior coating. The electric cells are accommodated in the housing 20 (a housing case 21 and a lid 22) while pressed. The housing has a press portion (at least any one of a first press portion 21a and a second press portion 22a) and a deformation absorbing portion (at least any one of a first displacement absorbing portion 21b and a second displacement absorbing portion 22b). The press portion presses the electric cells inwards from at least one side in the lamination direction Z of the electrodes. The deformation absorbing portion is formed integrally with the press portion, and absorbs deformations of the press portion when the press portion is pressed outwards by the expanding electric cells.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
