PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the pressure resistance and durability of a diaphragm 4 in an electromagnetic control valve configured to cancel a force acting on a valve body 31 by a pressure difference using the diaphragm 4.SOLUTION: A diaphragm 4 is constituted by a base cloth 4A and a rubber layer 4B. The base cloth 4A is reformed (preformed) to be suited for a molding die for the diaphragm 4. A needle member 40 is stuck into a center of the reformed base cloth 4 to pass through the base cloth 4, an annular fiber convergence portion 4A1 is formed in the base cloth 4A, and a larger-diameter opening portion 4A2 is formed within the fiber convergence portion 4A1. The base cloth 4 is buried in the rubber layer 4B and molded, thereby forming an intermediate member 4'. The rubber layer within the larger-diameter opening portion 4A2 of the intermediate member 4' is punched to manufacture the diaphragm 4. A connecting shaft (321) of an electromagnetic control valve near a valve member (3) is inserted into a portion of the diaphragm 4 corresponding to the opening portion 4B1. The connecting shaft (321) is fitted into a coupling hole (31b) of the valve body (31). A lower end portion of the connecting shaft (321) is caulked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
