Provided is a battery cell interconnecting and voltage sensing assembly comprising a plastic frame member having a plate portion and a center wall. The center wall defines an interior region. The assembly comprises a first interconnecting member connected to the plate portion electrically connected to a first electrode terminal of a first battery cell. The first interconnecting member comprises a spade lug. The assembly further comprises a removable wire harness assembly comprising an adapter member, a spade clip, and an electric cable. The spade clip is located inside an aperture of the adapter member. The spade clip is electrically and mechanically connected to the spade lug of the first interconnecting member when the adapter member is at least partially located inside the interior region.
