The invention relates to a profiled element (1) for securing a decorative element (9, 11), such as a curtain, a drape, an image, or a panel for example, and for indirectly illuminating a room (R). The profiled element (1) extends along a longitudinal axis (L) and comprises a lower face (12), an upper face (13), and a securing portion (14) for securing the profiled element (1) to a flat element (W), such as a wall for example. The lower face (12) comprises at least one groove path (5, 6, 7, 8), which extends along the longitudinal axis (L), for mounting the decorative element (9, 11), and the upper face (13) comprises at least one support surface (4) for receiving an illumination element (4a). The support surface (4) is inclined at an angle such that in the installed position, the support surface (4) runs at an angle to the horizontal (H). |
