PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation molding having reinforcing power similar to an injection molding product, in particular, a plate-like rotation molding and a double-wall type rotation molding; and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A rotation molding includes a support portion 4 in which one side wall 1 and the other side wall 2 having approximately the same wall thickness t face each other through an inner hollow portion 3, and that is tapered toward the other side wall from the one side wall. A tip portion 4c of the support portion is fused with the other side wall to be integrated with each other. In a method for manufacturing a rotation molding, a first mold 6 forming one side surface of the rotation molding and a second mold 7 forming the other side surface constitute a rotation molding mold G having a molding space 8, and a projection portion 9 for forming the support portion of the rotation molding is provided on at least one mold. The projection portion is tapered toward the other mold from the one mold. The tip surface 9c faces the other mold while keeping a gap T=t<2t. The support portion is formed by lamination of a molten resin flowing along the inner surface of both of the molds and the outer surface of the projection portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1-2 |
