PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid supply system which properly supplies a liquid according to an attachment state of a liquid storage body, and to provide a liquid supply device, a liquid jet device, and a liquid supply method.SOLUTION: A liquid supply system 111 includes: a common installation part 141 to which a first liquid storage body capable of storing a liquid and a substitute installation body 114 which is connected with a liquid container 23 capable of storing the liquid through a relay passage 115 are replaceably installed; an installation object detection part 142 which detects whether or not the first liquid storage body and the substitute installation body 114 are installed on the common installation part 141; a compression supply part 131 which compressively supplies the liquid stored in the liquid container 23 to the substitute installation body 114; and a control part 134 which drives the compression supply part 131 when multiple control conditions are achieved. The control conditions include forming a state where the liquid stored in the liquid container 23 can be compressed and detecting installation of the substitute installation body 114 on the common installation part 141 with the installation object detection part 142.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
