PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load delivery device and a load delivery method capable of safely and efficiently performing splashdown work and lifting and recovery work including inclinable work for an underwater vehicle to be lifted by one cable.SOLUTION: A load delivery device for an underwater vehicle 40 for performing splashdown on the sea or lifting and recovery from the sea by lifting a longitudinal direction tip of a load with a cable by an operation support ship. The load delivery device includes: a swollen body 12 disposed on a lifting and recovery cable 50 extending from a tip of the underwater vehicle 40; a wagon 14 including an inclinable stand 16; and a mounting stand 28 disposed on the inclinable stand 16 where the underwater vehicle 40 is placed. The mounting stand 28 includes a swollen body support part 32 capable of supporting the swollen body 12 while the inclinable stand 16 is elected; and a trunk support part for supporting a trunk of the underwater vehicle 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
