PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to recognize non-invasively a count of cultivated cells in a colony.SOLUTION: A cultivation information processing apparatus includes an obtaining part, an outline information generating part, a cell counting part, and a teacher information generating part. The obtaining part obtains a group of fluorescent images, of a first cell cluster consisting of fluorescently-stained cells, photographed as each focal point of the images is being changed. The outline information generating part obtains information relating to the size of the outline of the first cell cluster when it is projected on an observation surface. The cell counting part obtains the count of cells in the first cell cluster by using the group of fluorescent images. The teacher information generating part generates teacher information by associating information relating to the observation period of the first cell cluster and the information relating to the count of cells of the first cell cluster and the size of the outline thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
