PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-type washing machine capable of preventing an occurrence of failure such as malfunction of a drive part while improving washing performance.SOLUTION: The drum-type washing machine 1 comprises: a drum 22 disposed in an outer tub 20 and rotatable about an inclined axis; an agitator 24 disposed at a rear portion of the drum 22 and having on a surface a main blade that contacts laundry; a drive unit that rotates the drum 22 and the agitator 24 at a different rotating speed to each other; and a water supply mechanism part that pours water on a surface of the agitator 24. The water supply mechanism part comprises: a first water storage part 725a (a second water storage part 725b) that moves between a position at which it is immersed in water in the outer tub 20 and a position that is higher than water and stores water when it is immersed in water in the outer tub 20; and a first outflow port 727a (a second outflow port 727b) that flows out water stored in the first water storage part 725a (the second water storage part 725b) to a surface of the agitator 24 at a higher position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
