The invention relates to a method for mounting a pendulum laser device (10). Said pendulum laser device (10) comprises at least one housing (12), a pendulum arrangement (28) arranged in the housing (12) in an oscillating manner, and a laser unit (24) for producing laser radiation to be attached to or mounted in the pendulum arrangement (28) by means of an adjusting holder (30). According to the invention, the laser unit (24) is oriented on or in the adjusting holder (30) with respect to a preferred direction, in particular with respect to the surface normal (38), using an elastic clamping device (32) and is then held in place by means of an adhesive.
