OziwA (Original Zippy Window Awning) is a self supporting awning designed to be used on pop-top caravans where extra supporting struts cannot be easily fitted. It protects from both rain and shades from sun and caravan park lighting. OziwA is a permanent fixture to the pop-top roof.

Abstract The present invention provides a weather protection for zipped windows comprising: An aluminium sail track; an aluminium pipe used as a front support wherein the pipe has two holes drilled through it at either end; multiple aluminium extendable side supports with a tent spigot fitted to one end; heavy vinyl wherein the material sides are cut inwards from all to outer edge at a six degree angle; multiple cylindrical mounting brackets; multiple backing plates; and a zipped cover.
