PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device having a display portion that can accurately perform input processing from a display screen at a high speed.SOLUTION: In the device, photo sensors are arranged in a pixel portion at a ratio such that a plurality of photo sensors are provided relative to one pixel electrode, thereby the resolution of the sensors is enhanced, and an accurate position can be detected. A single crystal semiconductor layer is used in a control circuit of a photo sensor or a driver circuit for display. A color filter can be arranged to be superposed on a plurality of photo sensors provided between adjacent pixel electrodes, and the superposition of the color filter on the photo sensor can be performed in the same step and by use of the same alignment as a color filter to be superposed on the pixel electrode, providing advantages in the manufacturing process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
