PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple input method of Japanese contracted sound in an input device including a touch screen keyboard.SOLUTION: An input method of Japanese contracted sound is achieved by an input device that includes a touch screen keyboard and a key input processing section. The input method includes the following steps: that a first character of contracted sound is input by the touch of a user to the touch screen keyboard and by the following first swipe input, in the key input processing section; that a second swipe input following the first swipe input by the user is sensed, in the key input processing section; and that a small letter of a "ya" column constituting the contracted sound is input by the second swipe input, in the key input processing section.
