PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass encapsulant with which, while suppressing the amount of a glass material used, it is possible to improve its strength.SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 1 comprises a temperature-sensitive element 2 for detecting a temperature, a pair of element electrode wires 21 electrically connected to the temperature-sensitive element 2, a glass encapsulant 3 for covering the temperature-sensitive element 2 and a portion of the pair of element electrode wires 21, and a tablet 4 equipped with a pair of insertion holes 41, in each of which is inserted the pair of element electrode wires 21. In the inside of the glass encapsulant 3, a bubble 31 is formed at the tip side of the temperature-sensitive element 2 opposite the side at which the tablet 4 is disposed, the center of the bubble 31 being disposed on the inside of a contour line 201 of the temperature-sensitive element 2 when viewed from the axial direction X of the pair of element electrode wires 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
