PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data collection system.SOLUTION: A system 12 may include an interferometer having a reference arm containing a first optical fiber with a length L1 and a sample arm containing a second optical fiber with a length L2; and a first rotary coupler configured so as to match an imaging probe of an optical tomography device. The rotary coupler performs optical communication with the sample arm. The length L2 is larger than about 5 m. The first optical fiber and the second optical fiber may be arranged in a common protection sheath. The system further includes an optical element configured to adjust the length of an optical path of the reference arm. The optical element performs optical communication with the reference arm, and is either a transmission type or a reflection type.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
