PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control device of an air conditioner which achieves good operability while enabling a user to utilize convenience of a touch panel and achieves energy saving.SOLUTION: A remote control device of an air conditioner includes: a plate-like display part 3b which displays an operation state or an operation instruction of an air conditioner body 2; a touch panel 3a which is installed above or below the display part 3b and inputs the operation instruction to the air conditioner body 2 by changes of an electric signal detected when a display position of the display part 3b is touched; a transmission part 4 which transmits a signal of the operation instruction input in the touch panel 3a to the air conditioner body 2; and an operation on/off button 5 which is provided at a position different from the touch panel 3a and is used to start or stop operation of the air conditioner body 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
