PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction of reliability due to abnormal wear and vibration generated by repeating a state (detachment) in which an end plate of an orbiting scroll is not always covered on an inner wall outermost circumferential portion of a fixed scroll in a view from a rotational axis direction.SOLUTION: Provided is a scroll compressor including a partition plate provided in a hermetic container; a compression element including a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll in a low pressure chamber separated by the partition plate; and an electrical element driving this orbiting scroll to orbit, and configured so that a convex portion is provided so as to increase part of an end plate outside diameter of the orbiting scroll to outward of the outside diameter, and so that an end plate of the orbiting scroll always covers an inner wall outermost circumferential portion of the fixed scroll in a view from a rotational axis direction while the compression element (orbiting scroll) is driven to orbit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
