The present invention is applicable to the field of digital televisions. Provided is an apparatus for descrambling a digital television signal. The apparatus comprises a tuning and demodulation module and a descrambling and control module. The tuning and demodulation module is separately connected to a digital television network and the descrambling and control module. The descrambling and control module is separately connected to an intelligent terminal playing system and the tuning and demodulation module. The apparatus for descrambling a digital television signal provided by an embodiment of the present invention descrambles a digital television signal of a broadcast & television network and sends the descrambled signal to an intelligent terminal, and a program playing module of the intelligent terminal is used for decoding and displaying a descrambled current program transmission stream. Therefore, the decoding and display device of the intelligent terminal is effectively utilized, and as the decoding device in the apparatus for descrambling a digital television signal is omitted, the equipment cost of the apparatus for descrambling a digital television signal is reduced.
