PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crankshaft half-split thrust bearing and a bearing device capable of suppressing seizure when an internal combustion engine operates.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a half-split thrust bearing of a semi-annular shape for receiving an axial force of a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, includes thrust reliefs formed in a slide surface receiving the axial force so that the thrust reliefs are adjacent to circular both end portions, respectively and so that a wall thickness of the half-split thrust bearing is smaller toward the circumferential end portions, at least the rear thrust relief in a rotation direction of the crankshaft being configured so that a thrust relief length is larger from the radially inward end portion to the radially outward end portion of the half-split thrust bearing. Furthermore, the present invention provides a bearing device comprising: such a half-split thrust bearing; the crankshaft; a pair of half-split bearings supporting a journal portion of the crankshaft; and a bearing housing in which a holding hole holding the pair of half-split bearings is formed to penetrate the bearing housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
