PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cassette which makes a tape printing device detect a type of a tape exactly.SOLUTION: A tape cassette 30 includes a cassette case 31, a roller support hole, a guide hole 47, a film tape 59, a second tape support hole, a second peripheral wall 71, and a rear indicator part 900. The guide hole 47 is on an opposite side to the roller support hole with the second peripheral wall 71 interposed therebetween, and a part of an outer shape of the guide hole 47 is arranged in a position contacting with the second peripheral wall 71. The rear indicator part 900 includes a plurality of indicator parts arranged in a pattern corresponding to a type of a tape.
