PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure supporting structure suitable for supporting a structure to vibrate when an earthquake occurs.SOLUTION: Unlike the prior art, a structure supporting structure comprises: a base isolation mechanism for supporting installed around a first basic position in place of the structure supporting structure of the prior art, to move a structure horizontally relative to the base of the structure; and a support mechanism including a guide member installed around a second basic position spaced by a predetermined distance in a predetermined horizontal direction from the first basic position, thereby to form an upward guide face, a support member fixed on the structure, and a guide face disposed on the support member and made movable in the horizontal direction relative to the guide face of the guide member while following the guide face of the guide member. The guide face includes a center point, and a peripheral face positioned upward at a predetermined inclination angle in a manner to correspond to a clearance spaced as it leaves the center point as it leaves along the specific horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
