PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power consumption calculation device and a power consumption calculation method which can calculate power consumption with high accuracy for a shorter processing time than power simulation in consideration of regenerative invalidation when a train runs according to a diagram.SOLUTION: A database 102 stores a coefficient indicating vehicle information, route information and a coefficient indicating an effective ratio of regenerative power and power consumption according to a distance between trains. A storage section 105 stores diagram information containing a train line for each train and an operation curve. A control section 10 acquires a first coefficient based on a position of a first train and a position of a second train which are specified, determines an accommodatable power based on regenerative power in the second train determined using the first coefficient and the train information and the route information stored in the database, specifies the first train having the small regenerative power determined using the train information and the route information stored in the database through the accommodatable power, subtracts the regenerative power of the first train specified from the regenerative power of the second train, and calculates power consumption.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
