PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly secure virtual communication system.SOLUTION: A virtual communication system 10 comprises: a communication server 100 which has a virtual machine 108 and is capable of connecting to a terminal 12; and an authentication server 20 which authenticates a terminal 12 using the communication server 100. The terminal 12, the communication server 100 and the authentication server 20 are connected via an intranet 40 and communicate over a VPN (Virtual Private Network). The communication server 100 is connected to a public circuit 46. The authentication server authenticates connection of the terminal 12 to the public circuit 46. The terminal 12 communicates with the virtual machine 108 using a screen transfer protocol, and is connected to the public circuit 46 via the virtual machine 108.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
