PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric parking brake device which achieves a high ratio for generating a sufficient brake force without depending on the performance of an electric motor and concurrently maintains a secure braking force with a simple structure, enables the significant cost reduction, and has an extremely high commercial value.SOLUTION: An electric parking brake device includes: a main driving gear 14 which is rotationally driven in forward and reverse directions by an electric motor 11; a driven gear 41 which engages with the main driving gear 14 and rotates; and an output link mechanism 40 which transmits a rotary force of the driven gear 41 to a cable. The output link mechanism 40 forms a toggle. A brake state of the electric parking brake device is maintained by the toggle separately from driving of the electric motor 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
