PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a laminate having high gas barrier performance and transparency.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a transparent laminate 10 is provided, which includes steps of: subjecting a first substrate 3 having a metal surface to an anodic oxidation on the metal surface to form a transparent metal oxide surface 2 on the first substrate 3; stacking the first substrate 3 and a transparent second substrate 1 in such a manner that the metal oxide surface 2 side of the first substrate 3 opposes to the second substrate 1; and exposing the metal oxide surface 2 by removing a part of the first substrate 3 from an opposite surface side to the metal oxide surface 2 of the first substrate 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
