PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which actively inhibits lifting of a sheet during recording to improve the recording quality.SOLUTION: A recording device includes a moving mechanism 13 which moves a lifting inhibition roller 12 in a direction that the lifting inhibition roller 12 comes close to or separates from a discharge part guide part 15. In the recording device, reciprocating movement by a recording head 9 and transport by a transportation roller pair 6 are alternately conducted to make recordings on a sheet P. The moving mechanism 13 positions the lifting inhibition roller 12 in a first position when the recording head 9 reciprocates and in a second position when the sheet P is transported. The first position is located closer to the discharge part guide part 15 than the second position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
