PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module which can enhance the positioning accuracy of a component, while enhancing the shielding properties.SOLUTION: An optical module includes: a TOSA7 having a sleeve 12 and a flange 18 expanding from the sleeve 12; a ROSA8 having a sleeve 14 and a flange 19 expanding from the sleeve 14; an upper housing 2 for housing the TOSA7 and ROSA8; a sheet 22 having conductivity and elasticity; and a planar holding member 21 for holding the flanges 18, 19 in the upper housing 2. The upper housing 2 has a rear wall 15 provided with holes for passing the sleeve 12, 14, and a recess 20 for housing the sheet 22, flanges 18, 19 and holding member 21. The flanges 18, 19 are housed in the recess 20 while being sandwiched by the sheet 22 and holding member 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
