PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shading correction device and an image processing device that can perform accurate shading correction.SOLUTION: When shading data under stained manuscript reading which are achieved before the manuscript is read are replaced by initial shading data of an unstained initial manuscript, the initial shading data are corrected so that the ripple unevenness and amplitude of the shading data under manuscript reading are matched. The shading correction is performed by the corrected initial shading data, whereby occurrence of a periodical streak caused by the difference in amplitude of AC components of the shading data can be prevented, and accurate shading correction can be performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
