PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform two factor authentication in coordination with a mobile phone carried by a user, to an existing Web application.SOLUTION: A user identifier that is input at the time of login of a user is transferred to a program operating on a two factor authentication server by embedding a program described in ECMAScript or JavaScript (R) in a login page of an existing Web application. The program on the two factor authentication server which has received it makes an inquiry about a two factor authentication user identifier corresponding to the user identifier to a program operating on a Web server; and then, notifies a program operating on a mobile phone corresponding to the two factor authentication user identifier that the two factor authentication to the existing Web application is necessary, by using an instant notification function. A user inputs a one-time password onto a screen of the program on the mobile phone which has received the notification.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
