PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control mechanism of fully automatic multistage folding umbrella.SOLUTION: A control/conversion mechanism for opening/closing an umbrella is such that there are a spiral rod 6, a nut 7 and a push rod 8 on the spiral rod, that the nut and the apex of a tube B2 are connected with the push rod and that, with the lower end of the spiral rod driven in forward/backward direction by a power source in the handle G, the nut can be vertically moved while the power source is controlled by a button G1 on the handle. The conversion mechanism for opening/closing the umbrella composed of a three-stage or a two-stage pull string materializes the opening/closing function of the umbrella by the junction relation between each tube member and a top notch/runner of the tube unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
