PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product data processing apparatus and a product data processing method with which: even when there are raw materials of products from a plurality of places of origin, the places of origin can be displayed in a simple and easily understandable way without complications.SOLUTION: There is provided a label printer 1 (product data processing apparatus) that outputs product information such as a place of origin on a label 250. The label printer 1 includes determination means for determining whether or not the product information includes a plurality of places of origin, and output means for, when the determination means has determined that the product information includes a plurality of places of origin, outputting, to the label 250, a comprehensive name of the places of origin (for example, domestic) including the plurality of places of origin in place of information on the plurality of places of origin (for example, products of Kagoshima, Miyazaki, and Kumamoto), which is originally to be output.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
