PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device, at low cost, that can detect a parameter related to power consumption and can determine normality of a power interruption component.SOLUTION: A power supply line 41, which supplies a power supplied from an AC power supply 13 to a fuser 11, is provided with a voltage detection part 26 and a current detection part 27. When a relay 23 receives the input of an interruption signal, interrupts the power to be supplied to the fuser 11, and when receiving the input of a connection signal, supplies the power to the fuser 11. A power supply circuit 29 receives a power from a section of the power supply line between the relay 23 and the fuser 11 while the relay 23 is in a connection state, generates a power to operate a power calculation part 28, and supplies the power to the power calculation part 28. A determination part 39 determines that an interruption function is normal, when capable of receiving a value from the power calculation part 28 while the connection signal is output to the relay 23, and incapable of receiving a value from the power calculation part 28 while the connection signal is not output to the relay 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
