Provided is a maternity bed, wherein, when attempting to stow a foot rest, a lever is operated to cause a latch part to be raised to an upper position, and then a foot rest assembly is pushed in. The latch part passes by a first stopper, and then due to the releasing of the lever, the latch part moves to a lower position. The latch part passes by a second stopper and is latched, and the foot rest assembly is locked in a state of being stowed below a hip rest. In a case where the foot rest assembly is intended to be pulled out, when the lever is raised to move the latch part to the upper position, the latch part can pass by the second stopper. Due to this configuration, it is not necessary to lift the foot rest with both hands, one-handed operation is enabled, the present invention is hygienic, the workflow of a doctor etc. is not impeded, it is possible to smoothly move the foot rest to a position and fix it therein, and there is a margin of space below the hip rest. |
