PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine automatic stop/restart control system capable of starter-less starting of an internal combustion engine while preventing the reverse rotation of the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: It is detected whether a rotation direction of an internal combustion engine is a direction of normal rotation or reverse rotation on the basis of a signal from a crank angle sensor, and fuel injection and spark ignition are implemented if the rotation is determined to be the normal rotation. With the configuration, the fuel injection and the spark ignition are implemented after it is determined that the rotation of the internal combustion engine is the normal rotation, so that the starter-less starting of the internal combustion engine can be realized while preventing the reverse rotation of the internal combustion engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
