PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug connector which is sufficiently sealed as well as possible with the smallest possible external dimensions.SOLUTION: A plug element 2 includes a protective housing 9 including an inner chamber. The protective housing forms a mating plug receptacle for a mating plug element 3 complementary to the plug element, at least at a predetermined position. The plug element has a locking device 11. The locking device is actuatable from the outside of the protective housing and movable from an unlocked position into a locked position. The locking device extends into the inner chamber at least in the locked position, and overlaps the mating plug receptacle at least in the predetermined position, and has at least one sealing element 18 disposed in the protective housing at least at a final plugged-together position of the plug connector 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
