The two surfaces are connected to one another by at least two parallel-running edges. A polymer coating is provided on at least the two parallel-running edges, wherein the polymer coating is selected from the group of self-healing plastics and the probability of breakage of the glass element over a time of greater than six months under a maximum tensile stress of greater than or equal to 21 MPa is characterized by a maximum breakage rate of less than or equal to 10%. |
