PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projector that can be easily equipped with a light source unit.SOLUTION: An image projector such as a projector 1 includes a light source 21 such as a discharge lamp 21, and a light source unit 20a designed to be removable from the device body, and projects an image using light from the light source.
